About Dixon Acres apiary

OUR GOAL

Dixon Acres is commited to sustainable farming. We are very excited about having onsite polinators and the simbiotic relationship between us and them. We see ourselves as stewards to them. We have 2 colonies of italian honeybees on sight. This will help us create our own flower breads on site that will be unique to Dixon Acres.

Additionally, we get to do our part in supporting the crisis the world faces in declining bee populations. Without bees we lose food. We are committed in helping with this problem. We will continue to expand our Apiary and provide education, training and means to be able to help you do your part to save the bees as well.

We will be selling honey from our very own bees! Also, we will be selling beeswax, comb honey, queens, bee nuc's and perhaps what we are most proud of is our local pollinator seed packs. Some of the best flowers for pollinators are local wild flowers. IF you have a little bit of space available and would love to contribute to the cause you can pick up one of our local pollinator seed packs and help Bees thrive! Contact us for more info.

Farming feeds the world, and we must remember that pollinators are a critical link in our food systems.
